  22. When I owned my A500 a few years ago I tried desperately to look for a 
  23. cheap way to accelerate it, because after seeing my friends A3000/030 I 
  24. wanted a faster machine. The 68010 IS pin compatible with the 68000, but 
  25. you'll have to change the stepping rate on your disk drive (not something 
  26. for the beginner) and secondly, you won't find THAT much of a speed 
  27. increase evident. I also believe the the calculator program under 1.2/1.3 
  28. (And possibly 2.0) will not work properly with the 68010. My advice is 
  29. don't waste your time with putting a '010 in, you'd be better off 
  30. shelling out a couple hundered bucks for a 020 card that sits on the CPU 
  31. slot instead.
